Circularly Polarized Leaky-Wave Antenna Based on a Dual-Mode Hollow Waveguide

This communication presents a compact leaky-wave antenna providing circular polarization from dual-mode hollow waveguide (WG). The monolithic structure is based on rectangular metallic guide that perforated with crossed slots. fed by standard WR42 port, which connected to the leaky WG transition allows for excitation. axial ratio (AR) determined size of section and dimensions crosses.
